Sail with me in Polynesia

Sailing in Polynesia is everyone’s dream, but…is it really as stunning as they say?

As you probably already know, I spent three years sailing around the islands of Tahiti, also known as French Polynesia, and left a piece of my heart there. A friend of mine recently wrote:

“The world is full of beautiful places but then … then there is French Polynesia.”

I’m not exaggerating. This country is just another planet, and even though I don’t live there anymore, I go back often because, well, because I can’t help myself. When I lived in Polynesia I often wished I had the opportunity to share these beautiful islands with other people, to show them all the treasures I found around every corner: the smells, the flowers, the people and the wonderful underwater world. At that time I was sailing in a 36′ sailboat that was too small to accommodate guests, but that desire has remained with me. I don’t like to leave dreams in the drawer, so I decided to do it!

In October 2024 I am going back to Polynesia and will take small groups of friends around the Society Islands. This is my favorite time of year, the weather is favorable and most importantly, there are a lot of whales around! Believe me, swimming with whales is one of the most exciting experience one can ever have!

We will also sail to Bora Bora, so we can tell everyone we have been there, but mostly we will visit desolate anchorages that no one knows about. We have three double cabins for a total f six guests, but if you want you can also book the whole boat (with me and the crew on board, of course). I will be in Polynesia from September 25 to October 25, 2024, and if you like the idea of joining me click here for more information.

I believe that sooner or later everyone should visit the Islands of Tahiti, but it is easy to become one of the many tourists in overwater bungalows and miss the best part of this country: the secret desert places and the locals. That’s why I decided to embark on this new boat adventure, are you jumping on board?

And if you want to start dreaming right away, you can always just open my book and get teleported to the South Pacific from your couch…
